This August, 3 members of the Messe Frankfurt UK team took on the challenging Prudential Ride London. The route was a 100-mile (160 km) bike ride through London and the Surrey Hills. The cyclists started at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, travelled through the capital and onto Surrey's stunning country roads before a spectacular finish on The Mall in central London (near Buckingham Palace).
As well as an opportunity to take on a personal challenge in completing the ride, the Automechanika Birmingham team were delighted to raise £2000 for the mental health charity ‘Mind’.
Simon commented, ‘Despite focussing our daily efforts on four wheeled motor and electric vehicles, we are also keen cyclists – what better way to raise money for a good cause pertinent to us!'
